Which brands do you carry?

In addition to our own cosmetics brand, we carry a wide range of designer brands. We specialize in offering the best women’s denim fashion, including patchwork denim jeans, distressed jeans, cargo denim jeans, frayed hem jeans, and plus size jeans.

Along with women’s denim jeans, our trendy online boutique and in-person boutique carries beautiful outerwear, women’s tops, dress pants, accessories, and cosmetics. Designer clothing brands we carry include:

Am I able to return merchandise?

You may exchange clothing within five days, and we offer store credit. Certain products, such as cosmetics and clearance items, cannot be returned. Please see our full return policy for more information. You may also email us at info@spensermaxx.com for details.

What are you doing differently due to COVID-19?

Merchandise is sanitized and/or quarantined prior to shipping, and frequently touched surfaces in the store are cleaned regularly. Virtual shopping appointments and curbside pickup are now available as well. Customers must wear masks at all times while shopping in the store.

Will I be refunded for the returned merchandise?

There is no cash refund. A store credit will be issued in the amount of the returned merchandise, which will not include shipping costs.  Store credits expire 60 days after issue date.

Are shipping costs refunded?

No, shipping costs are not refunded.

How long will it take for my product(s) to ship?

Orders usually ship within 2 business days.

When can I expect to receive my order?

Spenser Maxx uses the USPS, First-Class Mail, which usually takes 1 to 3 business days for domestic shipping and 6 to 10 business days for international shipping.  Please allow 1 to 2 additional days during holidays. There may be additional delays due to COVID-19 downtimes with the USPS.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. All domestic and international orders of $75 or more ship free. Shipping costs are nonrefundable.

Who owns Spenser Maxx?

Spenser Maxx is a small, local black-owned business in the Detroit area. The owner, Joy Gatson, has a passion for helping women look and feel their best. She enjoys offering her own line of cosmetics as well as the best designer women’s denim fashions in metro Detroit.

As a female black-owned business, Spenser Maxx specializes in fashions for women ages 30 to 49, although we cater to girls and women of all ages.

How does it work when I book an appointment?

Appointments can be booked online by clicking the "Book Appointment" link or by contacting Spenser Maxx at info@spensermaxx.com.  An email confirmation will be sent.

In-store appointments: Face masks are mandatory for the safety of our staff and customers and to adhere to social distancing requirements.

Virtual appointments: An email will be sent to you 5-10 minutes before the appointment time with the meeting link.

If an appointment time you want is not available, contact us and we will try to accommodate you.

***Please note: If you are 15 minutes late to either a virtual or in-person appointment, it is assumed that appointment is canceled. Another appointment will need to be scheduled.***
